Every guy dreams of becoming a "ladies man". Secretly, he wants the women to be sitting by the phone waiting for his call, or better yet, call him!

And it is even more fantastic if she calls when his buddies are around.

So the question becomes, how to sweep her off her feet? How do you make yourself so special that you stand out of the crowd?

Well, the first thing you have to do is to understand how a woman thinks. Whether she is a girl in high school or a hard gal of the streets, if you want her to seek you out, you have to understand her.

Here are 4 Facts about the females.

Fact Number One: Personal Hygiene

Women want a guy that not only looks clean, but is clean. Brush your teeth and bath before every meeting. Don't assume that she can't tell that you haven't bathed since yesterday after work. Women have a highly evolved sense of smell. Trust me, she'll notice. And it is the kiss of death if she thinks you are "dirty."

Make sure your hair is clean. Nothing is worse than greasy, dirty looking hair. It gives the impression that you are lazy. If you are unfortunate enough to have naturally oily hair, then deal with it. Use a shampoo that deep cleans and does not include a conditioner. Conditioners just attract more dirt and increases oil in the hair.

Use deodorant! You may be surprised to know just how many guys do not have good personal hygiene habits. If you are allergic to deodorants, use a compilation of baking soda and talcum powder. The baking soda neutralizes the odor and the talcum powder helps to keep the baking soda in place. Dust your armpits after you have dried off from your shower. Because this concoction will not stay as long as todays solids, you will have to dust more often. You may also want to try chlorophyll tablets.

Fact Number Two: Personal Responsibility

If you have made arrangements to meet her or pick her up at a certain time, and you are going to be late, CALL! Do not leave her hanging, wondering what happened. This isn't about "reporting in" (get your ego out of it), but it is about consideration for her. If you'll let her know you are going to be late, she'll forgive you and she'll be impressed by your thoughtfulness.

Fact Number Three: Pay Attention to Her

We all know the cliches about men and women talking over, under, across and around each other. Out of the humor there is a basis for truth. Communication is probably the most important aspect of a relationship and at the same time it is one of the least addressed areas. It isn't that you have to agree with everything she says or even be interested in everything. You should however, make her feel as though you are interested in her thoughts and ideas.

If you really want to rack-up, some major points, look at her when she is telling you something. Don't look at the game on the TV, don't be looking out the window or reading the menu. Pay attention to her.

Once she sees that you are not only listening to her but you are also hearing her, she'll be more open to you.

Fact Number Four: Pet Peeves

Men have their list of what they wish women didn't do, but for the sake of this article, we are focusing on what you should do to win her over. Right? That is why you are still reading this correct? Ok...toss out your list, for now. There will be plenty of time for your list once you have a woman with whom you would really want to spend quality time. Right now, you just want to have the ladies pay attention to you.

When you take her out, do not spend a lot of time watching other women. You can do that all night long when you are out with the guys. Watch her, make her feel special, make her feel as though she is the only woman in the room.

Always introduce her to your friends if you run into them while the two of you are out. If you can't recall someone's name, just own up to it and introduce your date. Do this especially if there are other women in the group. Women are very competitive and your failure to introduce her to the others is the same as saying to them and to her: "This woman isn't important."

If that happens, you might as well take her home because you have just flushed all your hard work down the toilet.
