Natural Disaster Threats of 2006

Author: Lance Winslow

What kind of Natural Disasters can we expect in 2006 if any? Well, we see that the lava accumulation at Mt. St. Helen has now surpassed the volume of the dome and this will cause wildfires and it shows that we will see World Wide volcanic activity in 2006. Now we see a Volcano ready to blow in Alaska and Mexico City. We have seen already in 2006 Volcanoes in Central America and along the Asian Pacific Rim of Fire. Perhaps there will be some underwater volcanoes, as well heating waters and changing the weather.

Earthquakes seem to occur when there is water weight or a change in resonance on the tectonic plates, so we can expect Earthquakes in California, Washington, Alaska, Central America and South America too. There seems to be continued action in the Indian Ocean Region, Middle East and Mainland Japan thru the Kuril Islands.

The Atlantic Tropical Hurricane Season is certainly a heavy-duty wild card and lets not forget the Typhoons in the Pacific either. Indeed one natural disaster that seems to kill the most number of people is drowning from floods and lets us not forget the Indonesia Tsunami. Floods can occur from massive storm run off at anytime and we should indeed be watching for this and those living near levees, ocean, mountainous terrain, rivers and dams would be well advised to pay attention. Think on this in 2006.
