Autoresponders Work While You're Sleeping

Author: Lyn Leckie

One of the greatest inventions would have to be the autoresponder. The autoresponder is automated email you preload an autoresponder with a supply of emails and program it as to when you want those emails sent out. An example would be to have 10 emails loaded into the autoresponder to email to your opt-in list on every 2nd day. You write the emails once and load them into your autoresponder; you can then use an opt-in page to get subscribers to your list. Once people subscribe to your list they will get a confirmation message and when they confirm they will then get your first email. It is important to try and make your emails personable and not just make them all sales pitches as you want to keep your subscribers. As you add emails to your list in your autoresponder you are going the amount of days people will get email sent to them from you.

So how does it work, lets say John signs up on your opt-in page today he will get your confirmation message and he confirms he will then get your first message then on day 2 your next message day 4 your next message and you do not need to do anything as your preloaded messages will keep on going to john until he decides to unsubscribe from your list. You need to offer your opt-in list emails that add value to them this means emails that have information on how to do this and how to do that. You do not want to sell to them straight away as you want to build trust with your list. You want them to get to know you, know that youre a real person.

On the other hand you can also send a broadcast to your list which is an email you decide you must send to your list now. You login to your autoresponder and choose the campaign of which your emails are pre loaded and your opt-in subscribers are in and you send a broadcast now this could be to tell them something of importance or to sell them a product at a great price. If you dont want to broadcast you can simply add the email to your list of emails that your autoresponder is programmed to submit. It is important that you keep your emails going to your list make sure you have more than ten emails by the time your first subscriber gets to 10. Most people take seeing a product several times before they will buy it so an autoresponder works well for this.

It is also great when you wake up and find sales that were generated from your list. Every internet marketer should have an autoresponder and should preload it if you are unsure what to put in your autoresponder try filling it with your articles that you write. As well as some sales pages.
